We know that you want to maintain your car to the highest standards, which is why Pete’s Foreign Otto Shop of Valdosta focuses exclusively on foreign, high end performance automobiles.
Pete Berard moved to the Valdosta area when he was stationed at Moody Air Force base. After completing his service, Pete worked at a small independent Austin Healey dealership as a technician. In 1962, Pete and his best friend and fellow employee Ben Olliff struck out on their own and opened Imported Auto Center.
In 1981, Pete opened his own shop – Pete’s Otto. And the rest as they say, is history. The shop is still in its original location on East Ann Street. 1981 was also a special for Pete because it’s the year his son Tiger joined the team.
